Why Train with Me?
There are now quite
a few wonderful Theta Healing teachers out there and the
one you choose for your own training will depend upon
many factors. Some of these factors are practical, such
as location and dates of the courses, but some of them
are about how you feel about the person, whether they
resonate with you and whether you feel you could learn
from them. This is where I am supposed to extol my
virtues to you and I find this quite an uncomfortable
thing to do but these days it seems to be what you have
to do – so here goes……
People say that I
am a good communicator. This is probably because my
whole working life has been devoted to communication in
one form or another. I worked for many years as a
translator and interpreter where the prime objective was
to convey the message accurately and clearly. I have
also worked in a Public Relations role where again it
was about making people feel comfortable and conveying
information. Incidentally both my parents were
teachers, so I guess that might be an inherited ability.
Because of my
training in NLP I am also sensitive to different peoples
learning styles and needs and I always endeavour to
ensure that everybody in the class is “getting it”.
For this reason I
prefer to have smaller classes and I always make sure
that there are adequate helpers around to support
individuals. I think it is important that every student
feels validated and supported and that they feel free to
ask questions. I have a wide range of other skills and
knowledge that I can draw on to help people understand
what I am teaching. I have trained in many therapies and
read many books. I have also lived quite an interesting
life and successfully raised another human being, which
probably gave me the most insights of all!
My main aim as a
teacher of Theta Healing is to enthuse my students, help
them to see how wonderful and how simple Theta Healing
is and to give them confidence in their own ability to
do it. For me it is not about making it sound
complicated so that I look clever, it is about making it
as simple as possible so that my students can appreciate
how simple and natural it is. If my students don’t “get
it” then I have failed as a teacher. I also realize how
important it is to provide follow-up support and ongoing
training so I run regular practice workshops and a
practice group. I want my students to excel at Theta
Healing and love doing the work. I want it to enhance
their lives and the lives of all those that they in turn
help or teach.
If you choose to
train with me you will find that I am very practical,
very down-to earth and have quite a quirky sense of
humour. I also swear a bit so do not
choose me if you prefer your teachers prim and proper.
I don’t really do that.

I have a lot of
experience of training other therapies and have been
teaching ThetaHealing for 2 years now, having done my
teacher training with Vianna Stibal in Iceland and in
Norway.
Oh – and I speak
French and German too.
Anyway, that’s it
for the spiel – here is what some other people say about
me as a teacher:
